LearnMelanoma.org
This website previously hosted a research project. We investigated the role of the spacing effect in visual category learning, with the goal of enhancing learning and memory for visual categorical material. Our research has implications for how to improve training of dermatologists, surgeons, and art historians, among others.
For preliminary study results, see Pashler, Rohrer, Cepeda, & Carpenter (2007). For more information on the spacing effect, see Nicholas Cepeda's publications.
